Business Development Attorney
Working out of our headquarters in Austin, Texas, as the Director of Attorneys & Legal Staff, Cassandra works with every level of our organization and helps to ensure our attorneys, paralegals, and staff are successful and serving our clients as best as possible.
Cassandra graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor’s Degree in Literary Studies from The University of Texas at Dallas and then received her Master’s Degree in the Humanities from the same university the following year. Although accepted into a Ph.D. program, her love of research and writing, coupled with a desire to help people, prompted Cassandra to leave the program and pursue a career in law. Cassandra went on to earn her Juris Doctor from SMU Dedman School of Law in 2011. During law school, Cassandra distinguished herself as the Vice President and the Historian of the Women in Law student organization,as well as the Secretary of the Hispanic Law Students Association. The university chose her to travel to Washington for a special trip to meet Supreme Court Justice Sotomayor, she spent a semester studying law at Oxford University and externed for a Federal Magistrate Judge.
After graduating law school, Cassandra focused on civil litigation and law office management. For the past seven years, Cassandra worked for one of the world’s largest domestic litigation firms and managed offices across the U.S. in Texas, Missouri, Kansas, Indiana, Georgia, Arkansas and Kentucky. During her tenure at the firm, she won awards for her superior service to her clients and her skills with initial client interactions. Cassandra’s unique background makes her a valuable member of our firm, helping us maintain and uphold our core principle of Excellence Always.
Cassandra is admitted to the Texas State Bar, and during her career, has helped people in various areas of law, including family law, probate, estate planning and personal injury.
Outside of the office, Cassandra enjoys travel, cooking, wine tasting and reading.
